The Dutch manufacturer DAF introduced, in 1985, a new truck developed and built on the base of DAF 3300 Turbointercooling: the Space Cab. The cabin was very innovative and characterized for an higher aerodynamic standards. The new cabin was able to provide a significant level of driving comfort and was ideal for international commercial freight. The engine used was the reliable 11.6 liters capable of delivering, with a good torque, 373 horsepower. Even the consumption was, at that time, a strengths that permitted to the “Space Cab” to achieve a good commercial success.
